On the heels of Periwinkle boutique, which declared final 7 days that it will be closing just after almost 17 years in business, another preferred Alexandria retail store is closing its doors. Kiskadee, a boutique selling women’s clothing, extras, property products and items found at 2205 Mount Vernon Ave. in Del Ray will near April 3.
Kiskadee operator Celeste Crutchfield announced the final decision to near the keep in a letter published on Feb. 24 by Alexandria Stylebook. “The final two several years, jogging a business enterprise in a pandemic has zapped me. I haven’t been the spouse, mom, or buddy I want to be. I have not been current for the most critical interactions in my everyday living in favor of exerting all my energy to maintain Kiskadee in the course of hard situations.
