Male steals wedding ceremony ring established from NYC jewelers, online video exhibits

A male swiped a pricey wedding band and engagement ring set from a Staten Island jeweler — and a female served him have out the plan, new online video produced by cops exhibits. 

The person wandered into Jewelers on Fifth at 55 Richmond Terrace in St. George at 5:40 p.m. Oct. 18 and requested to see a a few-piece his-and-hers marriage band/engagement ring set valued at $17,400, law enforcement stated. 

The footage, launched Thursday evening, shows the suspect briefly looking at the established. 

The male suspect at first went to the counter and questioned to see a 3-ring set.

The man then pretended to let a woman into the store so she could see the rings.

Then a woman walked up to the entrance, and the suspect questioned the employee to buzz her in so she could see the rings also, authorities mentioned. 

The alleged thief is proven walking to the doorway — with the rings — pretending that he was about to permit the woman in, but as an alternative he ran out the door, the clip reveals. 

The worker tried out to operate following him but was unsuccessful.

The guy fled on foot and the female took off in a black Nissan Versa, cops mentioned. 

Law enforcement are however wanting for the pair.
